About Akhil Dave, The White Shirt Man
Akhil Dave is a healthcare marketing consultant based in Vadodara, Gujarat, with 25+ years of experience. He is the Founder and Principal Consultant of HMS Consultants and Founder Chairman of AHMP India Foundation. He previously held senior marketing and business development roles at Sterling Hospital, Jehangir Hospital and Geetanjali Hospital.
His belief is simple: Knowing is Knowing, Doing is Doing™. Healthcare marketing does not need more knowing. It needs doing.
Why the white shirt?
Akhil has worn only white shirts since 2000, an idea that began in his early sales career after he noticed the white aprons doctors wear. In 2024, interns who were discussing a book idea with him suggested naming his YouTube channel “The White Shirt Man”. The name stuck and became his personal brand.
